Don't ya love the mullets on these two.
multi multa; nemo omnia novit
First saw one in a pub run by friends on St James Street (leads to Park Lane). Think it was called the Furnace but so long ago I've forgotten.
It was a few years earlier than 1982 - possibly '76 or '77. The first ones were in upright cabinets and the table-top versions came much later.
It was so popular that Leon (the gaffer) had to insist nobody played more than 3 games before giving someone else a chance. On a few occasions people nearly came to blows arguing about whose turn was next. Quite a few were totally addicted and it seems funny now to recall adults behaving in that way.
I loved beating my mate at that, Downstairs in Scarlets bar, Hackins Hey.
My favourite was Gorf. My highest score on it was 250,000. I was rubbish at Defender though.
It is Accomplished
