    Yes and Mandy, that church pic you posted up from Frank Lehnan's book. Wendy's is almost opposite I think it may even be in that pic (near the Thistle pub) which is now May Duncan's.

    I found Clarence Grove in an ald A-Z it's nearer to Mere Lane than the Thistle

    Todays ration!

    Liver Buildings from Princes Dock Loco Shed. This straight track was used as a test for repaired engines. The loco in the distance was being test steamed after being restored privately. May 1971
    Parade of shops by Maghull station, Just look at the cars! April 1970
    Walton Road, Co-op head office and Blair Hall on left. March 1973
    Ditto, looking towards Spellow Lane
    County Road, Walton, looking towards Spellow Lane. Gerard Kelly's was Spellow Station on the Canada Dock - Edge Hill branch.
