Some more old buses. with the new st johns shoping centre & hotel, in the background, is a bus on the short lived city circle route. Next is a ribble at old haymarket. Another ribble, just past new strand. Next is Crosby rd/ St johns rd waterloo, and last a corpy bus on Green lane.

Many thanks, i will have to look out for the no 10. Has anyone spotted the elephant man on the top deck of the 67?? Posting these pics has made me realise how disorganised my collection is. I really must spend some time sorting things out.

At Hall Road, by the beach, the water tap was much in use in 1963

Unbelievable. One of those kids could be me! I made a mention of this tap in the course of a reminiscience about Fort Crosby a while back. Hard to believe someone photographed it- but I'm so pleased they did! Thanks for the memory.

i too would like to see liverpool central undeground before it was changed in the 1970s think i saw a photo somewhere of it and it actually looked better than it does now

Am not too sure, i will have a good look. I may have some in a book, dont know if its ok to post pic's from books on here. will have to ask kev.
