Streetlamp is right down the middle too - get out there with a hacksaw later on.

Anyone know the name of this church?

It's on Princes Road. There was no Church Sign.

Putting my streelight cap on, its not that bad! Although, the older CU Concretes would have been nicer.

Btw, thanks for the clarification! I wasn't all that sure and was also not wanting a repeat of the council's bounday sign fiasco!

I wanted the moon right over the Ancient Chapel, so I wasn't bothered about the lamp post, but the road sign must have been caught by a car's headlights, and it looks awful.

I should have been more definite.
It's Dingle, no doubt, but try telling that to the people in the nice estate with fountains, in the Herculaneum Dock. (They've even wangled an L3 postcode).

    Default Crane on Park Road.

The Clarendon Park Development is mostly finished, but this crane has just gone up, so I don't know if we're getting a little 'high-rise' in the Dingle.
    I like the red heart.
    This site is opposite Somerfield.

I wouldn't say it's a total writeoff (hope you don't mind me having a tinker).

    You could dull it down:

    Or paint it out entirely:

They're a bit rough, but you get the idea.

Don't climb over the railings into the graveyard. I tried it once! It's much harder getting out.

    Thanks, Butcher.
    They're much better.
I'm still only learning about all things digital, and haven't even started to attempt to alter pics.
(I'm still too busy taking them!).
Pardon my ignorance, but is that Photoshop?
I've got Irfanview, but only use it for resizing my pics.

If your camera flashed, then that will have caught the sign possibly. But as they are now relective, the sign might have been caught anyway.

The very nice local who I was speaking to wasn't keen on those living in the new estate; she's rater looking forward to the prospect of global warming as they will be flooded and she wont!

L3! if that's going a tad too far!

If people are wondering where the flickr update is; I have been buried by revision and college work which is why its had to take a back seat. I also had to go to Tameside yesterday which was actually quite fun!

Toxteth/Dingle should be up in at least 2 days so keep an eye out on my sig!

    All the best

Never knew of this John Brodie and the English Heritage plaque either despite going through Ullet Road at least 3 times a week.

Toxteth and Dingle are the areas I'm concentrating on the at moment so I'll get It

The first 53 were taken two weeks ago, its taken me a while to get thru the backlog! The John Brodie images were taken during April.

    Thanks for your comments!

Granby Street isn't bad to be honest just has a slightly bad rep from the media.
