About 4 years ago I had a very vivid dream about some friends from work talking to a few unknown people in a room I’d never seen before. It was such a powerful image that I woke up with a bit of a jolt. I spent the rest of the day thinking that it was such an odd dream to have.

Three weeks later we all went on a work trip to do some filming in New Orleans. We were there for a week with a theatrical medium from Liverpool and a local guide who did ghost tours around the old French Quarter of the city.
After a few days the main filming had finished and the medium flew back home. The rest of us stayed behind to film some extra shots of the city.
It turned out that the guide was also a film producer and had almost completed her first film. As a 'thank you' for using her in our production, she invited us to her house, with a few of her actors and production crew, to see the latest cut of the film.
We had been there for about an hour or so and as we were getting ready to watch the film, the most powerful feeling of déjà vu hit me. Believe me, it took my breath away when I saw the scene of my friends in this house talking to these people. It only lasted a split second – the angle and position of the people and the room and light were exactly the same as I’d seen them in my dream.
The fact that I knew instantly where and when I had seen it before really got the old heart beating faster. I'd actually been sitting down at the time and stood up and swore out of shear amazement.
I’ve never thought déjà vu was any thing more than just a trick your mind plays on you - and it probably is most of the time, but after what I saw I just can't explain this one.
