there's a street like that in Walton, what does unadopted mean?

It means the council are not responsible for its upkeep etc Lottie, the tarmac in some unadopted streets needs repairing and isn't, but then again.....
As you can see from the photo, not much tarmac left there now, cobbles have come through it all.
As Ged says :- Well spotted.
As for the Tarmac bit. No travelers been about then ? They can lay it on the cheap.
Had mine done and 18 months later had weeds sprouting.
