, I know - I've posted on this many times, when Atomic Kitten were originally formed, they appeared on Richard and Judy, Kerry Katona announced to the public that Atomic Kitten were "Pure Scally Scouse", in that accent of hers, it made me laugh at the time as the other two liverpool ladies have proved they are much more talented than most, Kerry wasn't and neither was that other one that replaced her.

George has Harrison Drive named after him. . . Well not really but it might not be a bad idea to rename the road "George Harrison Drive."

Yes they all have a road. John also has an Airport. i think George and Ringo are treated like second class Beatles by our city council. I dont think they care for George at all. It would be ideal to name it after George but i doubt he would even get a bus stop or a bin.

Something to pay tribute to the 200th anniversary of the abolition of slavery. Might be considered controversial but since the landing stage will be a small floating island - Gorée Landing Stage / Terminal / along those lines.

But why the slave trade? Hardly any slaves actually came in to Liverpool.

They should call it the politically correct landing stage.

I doubt that most places around the world that choose to remember the slave trade and abolition of it saw even one slave. It doesn't stop them paying their respects though.

Personally I think the UK government should now apologise for the criminalisation of Homosexuality so we could call it the John Inman landing stage. The government should apologise for Imperailsm so we could call it the Gandhi landing stage. The government should apologise for the Hundred Years War so we could call it the Joan of Arc landing stage.

I don't know where you're coming from on that. I said respects not apologise. One tip...think before engaging the fingers on the keyboard! Your little rant mentions nothing at all to do with the City of Liverpool. Change of username to 'Tangent' might suit you more

They have decriminalised homosexuality? Oh well I suppose we live in more enlightened times these days.
