    Yes.
    It used to be the Gladstone Hotel.

    They also had the Concert Hall over the road.
    Now flats called Trafalgar House.

    Thanks for these Kev. A really fascinating set of drawings and photos. Nice to see in the background of the tobacco factory a drawing of St Simon's Church, Gloucester St. Not seen this one before. The church was originally built for those Jews who had converted to Christianity.

    Yes, I think it started life as the Crest Hotel too.

    Can you tell me anything about the concert hall? was it an early music hall or for orchestral/choral music??
