I would love to hear more about the Garston Copper Works, I believe my 'maternal' grandfather died there after an accident! (can't verify this), his family also came to Garston from North Wales, via Seacome. surname was Davies, attempts at geneology research has proved hopeless!

    Dear Norm

I'm out the uk at this time and will be back in the new year, at which time I can send a lengthier response. In the meantime, check out the Garston and District Historicl Society site. Sarah Elizabeth Davies married my ggdrand father and namesake I 1866. She and her family hailed fromHolywell, Flintshire in N Wales,

Pls contact me again in the new year

    Best

    John
