    Default Russian Streets.

In the absence of the evangelist, Heber Radcliffe of Sun Hall on a mission to Russia, his family decided to develop land in Stoneycroft in which he had an interest and as a surprise for him on his return, they named the new roads: Kremlin, Moscow and Russian drives.

The Sun Hall was used as a cinema before the Kensington Picturedrome was built, and the Sun Hall in Bootle actually became the Imperial Cinema.

I've known these streets well as when people ask for directions to Sandfield Tower in West Derby, I always tell them that it is opposite Russian Drive.
