All aboard the city Culture bus
Oct 12 2007 Liverpool Echo
A NEW tourist bus route has been launched for Capital of Culture celebrations, to help link Liverpool’s main attractions and events during the year.
A fleet of new single deckers will hit the streets of the city on Sunday, and it will mean visitors and local people can travel between 08 events at opposite ends of the city.
The route will travel past landmarks including the Philharmonic Hall, the Cavern Quarter, the Liver Buildings and the Albert Dock and will run every 10 minutes, and cost one flat fare.
The buses are decorated with Liverpool images including the Beatles and both city cathedrals.
