An Historic 1941 built L M S Merseyside electric train is desperately looking for a new home. The train, known by British Rail as a class 502, has been given notice to quit its present site at Tebay in Cumbria.
The Friends of the 502 Group are now urgently trying to raze funds to move this unique piece of Liverpool railway history to safety. The group were undergoing restoration of the train at Tebay & hope to continue with the work on, or near Merseyside . An appeal has been launched by the group to save this Historic old train
