Hi Joe

To me that's a somewhat depressing view of Church Street in a soaking rain... but it's still a great photograph that really evokes the scene. Well done.

How do you do it Gerard. ? If I was to take a pic like that it would just look nothing. You make it so atmospheric and make it look something.

Yes, the pictures always look like they could tell a story .. like, where was this guy going or coming back from ? Perhaps he's got somewhere important to get to.

I wish I knew what if anything I'm supposed to be doing right...I'd sell it.. !!..

I said back then John when I started taking photos, and my view is still the same..
I just point a camera and press the click button.. thats all thats to to it mate...

Its no big deal taking a photograph...

(A little smile and a bit of friendly gab works for me... every time..)

Makes me want to run into Marks to buy something just to get out of the rain? Has the new Liverpool 1 affected that end of Church St it looks empty which is very unusual either that or it was Sunday morning.

No Doris, Marks still gets packed with shoppers. Church st is still busy, especially with Primark & TKMax.
