A Captured German U-boat in Liverpool 1919.

Presumably that was the one you could visit in the Birkenhead Docks a few years ago.
Wasn't there a campaign to keep it open, that looked like failing?
Anyone know what happened to it in the end?
I've seen another shot of this, taken from the same vantage point, but the Liver clock says 12.44 I think.

I believe the U-Boat at Woodside is still there and is a visitor attraction that they call U-boat Story. It is a World War II German submarine, U-534, that was used for training and weather reporting during the war. So it was not the same U-Boat that was captured and photographed at Liverpool docks in 1919.
