I buy the Fortean Times each month and sometimes post on their forum.
Not read the article yet but like the old photos of Everton In the article.
Gididi Gididi Goo.
Then you're a better man than I; I've been trying for years to get their message board to work. I've had dozens of confirmation emails and can sometimes log in and SEE the posts but I've never actually been allowed to post anything.
Yeah, they look good don't they? That was actually FT's doing - nice bit of research on their part. Not read the article yet but like the old photos of Everton In the article.

Hi,
Very interested to read your post. I am the Webmaster of the No. 1 site on Google for true ghost stories. I know it would be naughty to mention my site's url here, but if you want the full url, please contact me and I would be happy to email it to you.
I am sure you will find my site very interesting, as have the many thousands of people who visit it every month!

Oh pray tell - does he make them up like somebody else we know?
Is there a top google site for 'untrue' ghost stories then?
Anyway, the signature for a ghost site is like a singles night: Nothing any good ever shows up!

The clue was in his opener. Search Google for the text string given. Not the busiest forum ever but hey...
AP.
The reason why my signature links to a singles site is because I have just set that site up and want some new members.
I can't very well put ALL my urls in my signature, can I? Of course, if you want the url for the True Ghost Stories site, I would be perfectly happy to send it to you. Alternatively, you can type in the search term "true ghost stories", and you will get there.
Hi
I used to run a website about spirits and one time someone sent me a story of a spirit in Liverpool for the site. It was a 'ghost' that had been seen a few times in Liverpool, but this story went, Young lad approaches a bus stop, there's a young girl there freezing, so the boy lends her his jacket, they talk for a while but realising she's missed the last bus so she decides to walk home cutting through the grave yard. (Say her name was Susan cos I cant remember), the boy decides its not a good idea she walks home alone and takes off through the grave yard after her to escort her safely home, when he comes upon his jacket hung on a grave stone, and the name on the grave is Susan's. She had died years previous on a cold night after having missed the last bus home.
Has any one else heard this one before?
and how many books did you sell on your launch?
Yes, that one is in one of the early Tom Slemen books before I got 'onto them'
This is the only spirits site i've ever found to be of worth and the text is true.

.
It's interesting to have some clue about what Librarians think of Slemen's fans.

It does seem that it might make more sense, purely from a relevance stand point, to use a ghost related name and have a ghost related URL if you were A) affiliated with such a site an trying to promote it and B) posting in an existing thread about ghosts. Just my opinion obliviously.
However, as you're obviously posting elsewhere on the site and talking about other things I suppose it's fair enough. Still, it did seem a bit odd the way you jumped in on the thread.
