    The Co-op that was on the East side at the junction of Christopher Street. Snapped on 5.5.73 and now held at the LRO.

    I remember the Co-op well -used to go to concerts in Blair Hall whenI was a child and Mum going for her Divvy in the 30's.
    The concerts were usually local dancing schools putting on their children's shows

    Silver Beatles appeared there at a Jacob`s (biscuits}dance, entrance fee 6d (subsidised by the Social club)
