    Tommy Lee's.. London Rd.

the original shop sign said 'Mrs T Lee'

    Useless info time..

Pat K***** from the bully, very old family friend.... worked there for about 20 years.
I used to like watching Pat in the early 70's.. when she was a barmaid for my mam.
behind the bar in The Pontack with her mini skirts on.. what young lad wouldn't ..?

Mick, (another bully person) the night doorman until shortly before Lee's closed...
is now the window cleaner for all the area..

Building next door to Burtons in Norton St was the old Salvation Army Hostel, the space by the hostel in the 1976 pic was Brass and Jacksons the tailors, where I bought my first suit.
