    The bridges are in place just need the lines and cables to be layed.
    All the heavy red steel work was only to move the bridges around on the many wheeled loaders.
    There will be a lot of homeless pigeons now as they used to nest under the old bridge. Many years ago it was like running the gauntlet,trying to walk under and not be hit by pigeon droppings.

    Hopefully it'll all be operational before I'm officially back at work next week. This morning I had to get the train for one stop from Bootle New Strand to Bootle Oriel Rd, then the rail replacement bus to town followed by a train from Lime St to Liverpool South Parkway and finally another bus. Much easier getting just one train !!!
