    I have never been there until recently, til i got on my bike, lovely part of the wirral. I particularly enjoy the great views of Wales!

    SUNDAY 3RD JULY 2011


    With the fantastic weather today, the Pier Head was absolutely chocker. The ferry terminal terrace had quite a few up there and quite a few at the outside tables too. The canal link seats had people all the way along and the ferry was almost full as it brought a load of extra people to the area. The ice cream van and hot snacks van were making a killing too. It looks like it'll be even more fantastic when the new Museum opens and there's something extra to go down there for. The weather was still brill for another hour or two after I took this pic.

    I think the subject matter and lovely weather may account for its clarity

    It was so bright I could hardly see if I had it straight - I didn't.
