Hi Kev

The video gives a nice semblance of the way Liverpool certainly developed from 1207 up until today. However, I might bring up the point that the castle was probably not as elevated above the river and the pool that the video appears to show. In fact, when it comes to showing the modern-day view, the video, rather falsely, kind of squishes the perspective lower to accomodate reality, so again I think what we are being shown as the elevation of Liverpool castle is rather false.
