Brothers and sisters, bit of a mixed thread, but as a boy, one of my favourite t.v. programmes was the above mentioned archive series.Made by Pathe News, and voice overs by leading actors of the 50's, it spanned the 20th century's social history.
It is being re-run currently, and last night while watching, I spotted a brief clip of a bus,Albatross Sleeping coach/bus motoring along William Brown St.I wasn't aware that there were such things in Liverpool in the 30's! Can anyone enlighten me further?
This is still one of my favourite progs, and I also enjoy trying to put a name to the aforementioned voices, some easy, others not so.
Ta ta for the nonce.
