    Thumbs up poem

    Thanks, I didn't realize Joni Mitchell had been inspired by the poem. I think she's a great musician- songwriter. The poem has so many interpretations, Yeats's vision is a nightmare inspired by World War One, but that didn't stop World War Two (my opinion).

    Thanks, Chas. Of course you are dead right that one war does not prevent the next war... that's the pity of it. Here's a reverie on that theme:

    Events
    pass us by: wars,
    storms, earthquakes, tsunamis
    -- tragic that they occur... happen
    once more!
