The 1st one is a picture of the Childwall Abbey taken from the lytchgate of the church over the road. A lovely clear picture!

I'll have to look the street up as its not there any more but Cable Street runs off it.

Well done Ged. There is a street sign on the wall but I went Gozzy trying to work out what it said.
Thanks folks. I vaguely remember it. Wasn't there a telegraph house or something on Cable st where the postmen/telegram men parked their old red bikes outside, early 70s ish.
Thanks Phil, that'll bring back some memories. When you think of how that area has changed a number of times before and is currently changing again.
