I think Crowne Plaza as a company are a USofA company.
If this is true can you please inform them that the 'Union Flag' should be flown on the Middle of the three flag poles.
Unless common curtsy and diplomacy have gone out the window, where three flag poles are used the 'Host Country Flag' always flies in the middle.
The house/company flag should fly to the right of the Union Flag looking at the building.

If tomorrow starts without me, remember I was here.
Hi Phredd
I don't know if the Crowne Plaza is run by a US company or not. We found it a well run hotel and enjoyed our stay there. The only thing that I was unhappy with was the "scouse" I had in the bar and which I found to be tough and no advert for the legendary Liverpudlian dish -- I complained and got a credit on the bill for that. I assume you are correct in what you say about how the flags should be flown and since Americans are punctilious about flag etiquette in terms of how "Old Glory" the Star-Spangled Banner is flown, if the outfit who own Crowne Plaza is American-owned, they ought to know about it and get it rectified. . . and even if they are not an American concern, they should do it right. I'll let 'em know. Thanks, Phredd. You may now come out from hiding.
