    Thumbs up Liverpool Town Hall

I think the town hall is finally being cleaned and restored. There is scaffolding being erected around it and a sign stating the organisation that's performing the work. It's the same company that restored the exterior of St Georges Hall.

    Hi AK1

Great to know! If it's the same company that restored the exterior of St Georges Hall, they should do an excellent job with that fine old lady, the Town Hall, sprucing her up for the Big Year.

I saw the scaffolding round the Town Hall when I was in Liverpool 12 days ago and took some photos which I hope to post shortly.

I think they're getting wise to urban climbers and explorers, what with infrared beams, alarms and scaffolding mounted CCTV.

Probably more worried about 'Urban Thieves'....then...'Urban Climbers'...Must be an awful lot of valuable merchandise in there..!!!

True, but I don't know what they'd thieve from the roof. Also Martin's Bank has been given the same treatment, and they didn't bother with that last time they put scaffolding up.

    A Great Twosome. Excellent, Phil.

Might I ask, how did you do it? You must have been on the upper floor of a building on Dale Street or where you doing a Snappel up on the roof?

    Thanks Chris.

I was walking down Dale Street (I always look up), and noticed that the two statues were lining up together, so just zoomed in on them when they were level.

    Me, doing a Snappel.
I get vertigo walking over bridges!

    Thanks, Kev.

    It's a great camera.

I zoom in on anything now, and look later to see what I've got!
