I was on Abercromby and Oxford street today and noticed a half broken cream and black City Of Liverpool plaque on the University Sports centre saying a Charles Booth was born there.
Was It his home and side that got demolished?
Heres the plaque.

Very intersting we could do with a lot more like him today.
The Victorians produced some great social reformers.
Dr Duncan was a man who was similar to Booth and did a lot to alleviate poverty in Liverpool.
