    Default Freddie Mercury

Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara; 5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991) was a British rock musician and songwriter, best known as the lead singer of the rock band Queen and often heralded as the best rock singer of all time. He is remembered for his vocal abilities and charisma as a live performer. As a songwriter, he composed many international hits, including "Killer Queen", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Somebody to Love", "We Are the Champions" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love". In late 1991, Mercury died of complications from AIDS.

    Give the lad a break.
He's a newbie and probably doesn't know his way around the site.

We know the Scouser Hall of Fame is just for Scousers, but why should somebody whose just joined us know it?

Just by chance I found this in Wikipedia

"Freddie Mercury lived in the pub Dovedale Towers for a short period (he was known as Freddie Bulsara at the time.)". Here

Maybe that's why he posted it - not a scouser but some connection it would seem.

    Also gets a mention here

Never heard of this connection before and you can't always rely on Wikipedia to be accurate.

LOL met the Queen anyway and had the best view of her. Standing on a ledge near the top of the Anglican Cathedral!
