Liverpool.. the way I see it.. the photographs of Gerard Fleming.

You can have all the technical ability in the world, but without an eye for composition your photos will just be snaps. The final pic at the market, with the guy drinking his coffee, is a wonderful observation. It would never have occurred to me in a million years what a good photo that scene would make.

I agree. I only said to Gerard the other night that he has a real good eye for pics.

Its on !.. my 1st photo exhibition will kick off in a few weeks..
and thats the name of my exhibition above..
it will run for at least 4 weeks...
I'll post more info when I get the actual opening night date..
it depends on me getting the images printed and framed etc..
the people at the exhibition end cant get it started soon enough....

before re-development...photos show original welcome sign.. and a cafe or bar area that was situated in the large complex that was in the middle of the festival site.. in the distance in the top photo you can see the remains of the Japanese arch leading to the Japanese water garden area... more of these unusual abandoned Garden Festival site photographs will be shown at exhibition called...'Liverpool.. the way I see it.. an exhibition showing the photographs of Gerard Fleming'....the exhibition will start early October 2011 and will run for 4 weeks.... Its going to be at The Great Homer Street Medical Centre Lindy.... Gerard says its situated just by Great Homer Street Library which is a bit further along towards Walton Road End than Greaty Market on Great Homer Street

The medical centre will be just showing my Greaty market area photos...
maybe other Liverpool photos as well in A4....
they can have as many as they want, if they want them.
I've dropped 20 7x5's off at the medical centre yesterday...
I think they intend putting them in display cabinet, I don't know, I'll let you know mate..
