have had to reduce all images to very small size which reduces photo quality.. considerably !

Yes there is... 800 x 600 mode is too big for this site....
the pics above I've added are 600 width.. any wider and the image has to be scrolled...
I've just found that out after being here 2 minutes.. thanks.

They still show up even when they are too big. Naturally the good size for the forum is probably <600 px.. welcome

Gerard, I thnk Yo has some sort of built-in resize feature when u use the insert image link to your photos wherever they are on the internet. I know some of my flickr photos that I've added on here are much bigger than they're shown. I guess the person we need to tell us for sure though is Kev

Cheers smurf.... I've had to reduce the size to a very small size as the originals I added were way too big at 800 width...its not a problem, just not used to viewing my pics that small.... a new folder with small image files for Yo will do the job....thank you.

Good to be reminded of Browns jewellers as well. I see that Browns has a worthy successor in Bohns now (see Little Jewel Thread)... It could have ended up as yet another Starbucks/ Nero/ Subway, etc.,etc....
