Does anyone recall a snack/milk bar called ` 5 Jolly Gremlins`, on the corner of West Derby Road/Belmont Road? I think it was `5`,could have been 3 or 4 perhaps. Going back to the 1950s now.

on the corner of West Derby Road/Belmont Road?
The only two buildings I know of for this exact location has been the Belmont Pub and the Church opposite side of the road, across the lights I don't think there has ever been any buidings?

The only milkbar I know of at the specific years was this one.?

I don't think there has been a milk bar on the corner on Belmont/West derby rd - - as George says, there was only ever the church and the pub.

There was the Diamond cafe which was a milk bar on the block near to the corner of Townsend lane/Lowerbreck rd. That's the only one I can think of in Anfield/Tuebrook.

I think that's right George...the "Belmont" pub,St ??? church, the gateway to Newsham park estate, and the Sheil rd corner!
