Can you post smaller copies of the photos with a link to the fullsize one? The large pics break the forum formatting somewhat.
Also smaller pictures, resized correctly, do look sharper and nicer. Go for 800x600 or 700px wide on the longest edge.
900 x 700 or 900 x 675 Is also godlike.
