Was Claypole Street still there when your Mum lived down Lodge Lane? My granny lived there for many years and I vaguely remember the house with the outside Loo and the scullery with one cold tap. Ahh the good ol days

no she dosent rember that street, but she sure remembers the out side toilet ha ha the great old days of liverpool, i hope some one has got some pics they can share with us of lodge lane, handel street and claypole street.

Aye, I remember the old loo. It wasnt even porcelain, it was a board with a hole in it, BY ! the splinters !
