    No George it just by the vat and custom building in Queens dock,the cockle hole is the Coburg half tide dock which is open to the river so it`s tidal. The last of the liverpool fishermen used it because they didn`t have to rely on dock masters opening gates. See here

    I`ve been catching and eating fish out of the Mersey for 60 years ,I might be active but not radio active. Ray are being caught in the Mersey now which were never seen in the river as they require clean conditions
