Of all the family backgrounds you DON'T want to find... A "Ripper"
researcher has come across my mysterious family and put forward the
thought that my Mary Jane Kelly may have been the MJK who was the last
"canonical" victim. Now I am desperate to find that she died in her bed
- in Liverpool! Does anyone have current access to parish registers so
that I can prove they are two different Marys? I suppose we could go for
DNA testing...!!!

Mary Jane Kelly married Robert Wilson - St Nicholas, Liverpool on 9
September 1872.

In the 1881 census we have:

Dwelling: Penrhyn St 7 Ct 19, Liverpool, Lancs

Robert Wilson, Head, age 27, a baker
Mary Wilson, Wife, age 26
Robert Wilson, son age 7
Christina Wilson, daur age 10 (weeks or months)
John Kelly, visitor, age 57 from Ireland.

My grandfather, Arthur John "Sullivan" (born either 5 Jul 1884 OR
September 1887 - but I can't find a birth anywhere!) claimed Robert and
Christina were his brother and sister, yet he had a different surname.
He was orphaned.

The entire family has disappeared by the 1991 census.
