    Building sites don’t usually make the most interesting photographs but the sheer size of the plot for the new St John’s Market is quite staggering.     thanks for that colin, my first job in 1966 was in greenwoods menswear near the market, most of the staff were women and refused to get stock from the basement as it was over run with rats displaced by the demolition, that was my job, bloody big ones some of them
