    Default Tiber Street Well?

I've heard a story about a hole opening up swallowing a horse and cart many years ago in Tiber Street exposing an underground well. Any thoughts?

    Hiya Kev ,
I don't know about any well , but could you be thinking about the time the drains collapsed just as a horse & cart were on the spot , it opened up & the horse & cart fell in ,apparently this was towards Alt St & Tiber St

My friend was in the news a few yrs ago as her garden collaspsed , on inspection the authorities discovered a well ,This is in the Elms off Ullet Rd & Peel St .

    Love Karen x
