    Default Records office look ups

    Hi All

I was thinking if any members use the records office. maybe we could do look ups for other members. i go there about once a month and dont mind looking up for people. if you need a look up just post and i shall see if i can find your info. no promises mind, but if i can i will.

Maybe we could talk about what you can look through. i was put onto the workhouse book records. unbelievable book with incredible info. and yes my 2 ancestors where there. but being related to me they absconded after 2 days. they where aged 7 and 9. what a different world we live in.

    Hi Chris.

i posted the link as they have helped me so much with my family history.

I started with only a name and found out so much( i bore everyone with my websites now ) and i only started 2 and a half years ago. thats why im offering look ups when i can, people did it for me and got me started. im putting something back in by helping others. and i love doing it, i love genealogy and hope i can help others get into it.

Im determined to get Kev started. i know he has thought about it. its amazing when you get into it. learning what your ancestors did and how hard it was for them. its a wonder we are here, its so humbling.

    Hi

I am looking for the marriage of George Phillips b: 1866 Swansea, Wales, to Elizabeth Webster b:1876 Salford area, according to the 1911 census they had been married for 14 years which puts it at about 1897.

I have checked all the online BMD's but still have not been able to find them. Our family knows very little. Their first two children were born in the Salford area, they then moved to Bridgewater street Liverpool (1911 Census) then by 1915 they were living at 47 Kitchen street liverpool. We do not know the names of either George or Elizabeths parents, thus why we need the marriage cert.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Kindest regards
    Joanne

Brother Ged, I must have mucked up an attempt to p.m. you re your reply to my recent request for you to do the honours at the record office. If my messages miraculously got to their intended destination, please disregard this!, if not,the images I asked about were all of Tunnel Rd, Edge Hill.
    Once again, thanks.
