Tough and Go

Everything these days is Tough and Go.
Everybody's got the Pickpocket Pox.
Earthquake struck this a.m near D.C.
and the government buildings rock.

I keep looking at the map of Iran, Iraq,
Afghanistan, think of Taliban and Al Queda,
Guantanomo, like so many jigsaw pieces: have
our enemies got the Bomb or not. . . should I care?

Pretty Russian spy sent back to Red Square.
Microdots hidden in tree trunks. I got
the Pacific Ocean in my left leg,
the Indian Ocean in my right.

Everything's fretting me.
Everything's Tough and Go.
