Hello Steve
Welcome to the site and for posting those interesting links. The software program automatically looks for potential bad words such as b*itch which it will render as ***** or d*ick which becomes likewise ****. Sorry about that.
The ghost story is interesting. I believe Buffalo Bill did appear with his Wild West Show in Liverpool so that much is true. "As the Liverpool Mercury put it in 1891, it is 'a piece of the Wild West bodily transported to our midst …It is not a show in the ordinary acceptance of the term, because the actors are each and all real characters—men who have figured not on the stage, but in real life.'" (From "Buffalo Bill's Wild West in Europe.")
However, Indians at the time would not have used stone-pointed arrows such as the one shown in that x-ray so that looks to be a gag. It is an arrowpoint but looks to be a prehistoric one or at least not one from circa 1900 when any arrows would, I believe, have had metal tips if Indians used bows and arrows -- though of course many used rifles in the American Indian wars.
