    I hated the smell of coffee from Coopers !, my Mum loved it though, from the time when I was really young I have hated and still do the smell of coffee, I,m sure it was because of Coopers.....loved the cheesey smell though....
    Once again what a crime this lovely old building was torn down for modern concrete "blocks" !

    Yes it is. W. H. Smith's was in there when I was over in 2007 but I think I have heard that it has changed hands?

    W. H. Smith's is now part of Liverpool One. Cooper's building dates from the later end of when St Peter's church was still standing. See the 'before and after' attached below.
