    Default Wavertree Tech Park

    Helloo,

I don't know much / anything about the geog of Liverpool!
I have a potential job coming up in a site on/at Wavertree Technology Park...is the best way to access this area train?!
I live in Anfield and don't drive and don't know my way around anywhere aside from in the city centre .

    Any advice would be great,

    Thanks xx

You could get a bus into town, go to Lime Street Station, then jump a train to Wavertree Technology Park, its only 2 stations.

Hello DB, are you changing jobs again? Glad to hear you finally got away from Ellesmere Port. When you left. the IQ of the town went down 8 points. Are you all settled in now?

Depending on where in Anfield you live, you could walk there in less than half an hour.

If you live in Anfield you don't get a train to Wavertree. You'd have to bus it. It is possible to walk but it's a fair stretch. Depending on where you are starting from, you can cut through Newsham park/ Fairfield way and straight over to cut across Botanic Park.
Or coming from Oakfield rd way, keep going across to Belmont, continuing along to Sheil rd, over and down towards Botanic park. It's a lot of walking ! best to go by bus.

The Technology park is a bit awkward to get to from Anfield. You'd have to get the 27 ( or is it the 26, the one that goes along Belmont rd & Sheil rd) get off at the junction of Wavertree rd and another bus down Picton rd. Or you could actually walk down Picton rd past Botanic park - it's only a couple of stops. Depends which part of the Technology Park you want - the other way is to approach it from Rathbone rd end. Depends whereabout in Anfield you are to get to Rathbone. (the 14 bus down to Queens Drive, then another bus along Queens Drive down to Rathbone rd).

    Hey,

I live off Oakfield Road (the end nearest Breck Rd). Is it quicker/cheaper to get buses?
I was planning on getting the 26/7 to town and then getting on the train?

    Heyaa,
Yes, town job was a bit completely rubbish and I've finished my degree now so I can hopefully work more sociable hours and just MORE hours in general.
I'm sure EP is surviving without me
Pretty settled yeah, still need to sort a few things for the house but got a second puppy so that counts as settlement for me hehe

Which side of the park ?
Get the 26 to Edge Lane then a bus down to the park or walk.
    Or,
26 to Wavertree Rd then walk about 5 min to the entrance ,then no more than 10 min to anywhere in the park.
