    I'd heard through the family that a Great Uncle of mine had joined the AIF during WWI, I did'nt believe them... but I do now..

    Nice one George..

    Mine find, was a Great Uncle from Ashfield st. He was a Merch Seaman who in 1916 was in Liverpool Australia, and Drunk.

    He joined the AIF for 4 months... Before being shipped back to the 'pool.
