Thread: The beach at the bottom of South Road

Default The beach at the bottom of South Road

Not sure where to post this, but late least year someone posted about whether anyone remembered how far the tide used to reach at the bottom of South Road in Waterloo, I replied that the sand used to reach up to the sea wall before the lakes were built, and to prove the point here is a pic, sorry about my legs (laughs)

The pic was taken in 1969

My ex lives in Sundene Lodge overlooking the lake. The views used to be nice, but now all you see is those stupid windmills and The Port of Liverpool.

Got to say I love the Windmills. As well as the Iron Men. Though they make me feel inadequate
