Great photos Joe. Am I right in saying the Lord Napier closed down a few years ago, and has now reopened.

Great photos as ever Joe. Hope you don't have to drink in every one you snap
My sunday afternoon impromtu little pub crawl a couple of weeks ago started off in Moorfields at the railway and the lion, purely for nostalgia purposes as they used to feature heavily - too heavily in our regular crawls when I could drink. Hic.
Then ended up on Dale Street.
Rigby's bogs. A strange place for a picture. Now, had it been the lfc squad i'd have made a play for who can pee the highest
The Vernon bar.....
And the lounge.
I must admit to preferring the gold embossed on maroon felt wallpaper of the 80s than this cold looking blue. Also, the original black and white floor tiles have been revealed when the carpet was taken up but I deffo preferred the carpet, maybe not that one, but a carpet.
Great photos. Love these pubs.
J.P. Merryweathers is one of the few on the High Street I haven't been in.

Joe, it was a rainy sunday afternoon at the wrong end of town Rigby's had a few in but they were all eating sunday lunch in the Nelson room so I didn't bother photographing in there. No one in the Lion at all except us and only about 3 in the Vernon bar. This sunday I was down at the Grapes in Mathew St, the Croc and the Liverpool and all were chocker.

You only had to see the the lads who went in and it was pretty easy to figure it out. Plus I know a few scraps occured there. Last time I passed there and it was open I thought, "I'm glad I'm not a boozer".
Mind you, it's the same thing I suppose as the Crown pub which I thought was great, many would disagree.
