    YAY.............I recently saw the BANKSY documentary about street art life and that weird French guy who has made millions from a line Banksy said to him!!!! At the reception after the screening I had a drink with the editor and director but as hard as I tried I could not get one fact about Banksy other than he is from Bristol which we know, Oh and I said I bet as 'street' as he says he is that he wears and Audesmars or Patek watch!!!!! The editor said although he would not confirm the watch he wears I was right that he has good taste and a good watch,

    Loved the documentary and think Banksy is talented AND has a great sense of humour!

    I suppose it is a tribute to your strength of character Joe that there are no interior shots.
    I will just have to take care of that myself.

    @JoHalewood

    39 Mill Street was the Alton Towers pub. A picture appears on p15 "A pub on every corner Volume 2: South Liverpool". Manager: James Dooley.

    Thank you SO much. I'm very excited!! I don't have this book and it looks like it is out of print. But I do have an old photo of what might just be the Pub as there is a sign on the Wall but all you can see is TOWERS!! My grandad had this pub around 1926 and my Mum and Aunty are standing outside. They went to St Pat's, which is just nearby and, in the Photo, the pub has Brass Bars on the front, and is flat to the street, it doesn't seem to be on a corner. If anyone can tell me how to add a photo here I will do so.

    Thanks again Marky!!

    Thanks Oudeis and Gregs Dad but I have never published any photos on the net and don't really want to. Is there no other way? I tried clicking on the 'insert image, icon, but that asks me for a URL, so I suppose that means it must come from the net. Grrrrrr!!

    Alas Jo there may be no other way to put your pics here on the net without (er) putting your pics on the net.

    The "insert image" icon gives a "from computer" choice in the tabs in the pop-up little window.

    Click this and you can directly upload from your computer and bypass any web storage location like Photobucket...

    Sorry guys. It just loooks as though Gregs Dad puts photos directly on here as inserts, whilst others do put in web links. And thanks az_gila, but I don't get any tabs in the pop up window. It only asks for a URL. Aaaaargh!

    Az_gila - I was using the quick reply, and now that I'm looking at the advanced reply, I see the options available there, so I'll have a go!
