    Default Charades and Metaphors (CTG)

I told you the truth but you didn't believe me.
Now I wish I had stirred my spoon in her honey pot,

dropped my anchor in her torrid tropical lagoon,
dipped my nib in her dusky inkwell.

Let's play nuke that metaphor, shall we?
Our relationship is a junked book.

    Very good Chris,

I'm always confusing analogies with metaphors, and then there's cliches.
If I tripped over one, I couldn't tell you?
    More a know-it, than a poet.
    Then what I do know,
    I'm less certain of.
    and what I'm certain of,
    I know nothing about.
