There's a very large mural at the bottom of Dingle Steps. Here's some details that caught my eye:

    Toxteth riots

    IGF Dome

    Pig memorial

    Pink Floyd, The Wall

The slogan 'Fear Builds Walls' was also on the Roger Waters' pig at the Echo Arena

My favourite piece of Graffiti. Think it was taken on Gradwell Street.

If you look carefully at the doors to the left of the second picture, you'll see YO.
Kev, you'll never cover your tracks leaving such an obvious tag!

When I lived in Los Angeles a friend came up with his own measure of how nice a neighbourhood was...

A low GPM count (Graffiti Per Mile)...

In Los Angeles it also could signify a major gang presence....

I personally think it's a blight, but all of that creative energy can be put to good use with the permission of property owners and suitable sites. Just turn it into real public art.

    Tucson is doing this -

A nice example here, the back of a flower shop -
