WIRRAL residents can see more images from the District line from today, as an updated version of Google Street View was launched. When it was launched last year, the site displays photographs taken in 25 cities, but areas of the city as Wirral were excluded almost entirely.

But that would also need a whole thread of its own if we were gonna talk about 'Old New Brighton'.

I'm always looking for info. and photos of the open air pool if anyone can help me - but that, I suspect is a bit more difficult than some.

Does anyone remember the concert at New Brighton Baths in 1984? Frankie Goes To Hollywood performed at it.
Nah, the Late Night Extra was situated on the corner of Rowson St & Wellington Rd.

I had tickets for that concert but we all had a few drinks and got there late so wasn't allowed in, there's a video on YouTube, Frankie Goes to Hollywood round about 08:05 here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7Cy_CULMVI
