WIRRAL residents can see more images from the District line from today, as an updated version of Google Street View was launched. When it was launched last year, the site displays photographs taken in 25 cities, but areas of the city as Wirral were excluded almost entirely.

The Chelsea was previously know as the Chelsea Reach and my Nan once told me it used to be the Late Night Extra. Though I don't know whether that's right.

Bobby's Bar used to be the Golden Guinea.

But that would also need a whole thread of its own if we were gonna talk about 'Old New Brighton'.

I'm always looking for info. and photos of the open air pool if anyone can help me - but that, I suspect is a bit more difficult than some.

Does anyone remember the concert at New Brighton Baths in 1984? Frankie Goes To Hollywood performed at it.

Nah, the Late Night Extra was situated on the corner of Rowson St & Wellington Rd.
