My brother used to work in Hartleys.
The caravans were part of a fair which visited there often. You can see the swing chairs on the left of the picture

Thanks for the photos. Does anyone know the dates of when they were taken?
My great great grandparents used to live in Brookfield House literally just over the road from the factory. On the 1911 census it lists their two daughter as working as Confectioner's Apprentices - must have been in the Hartley's factory. They moved to America in 1920 and the house was demolished before 1927.
Does anyone have any information on or photos of Brookfield house?
